Career in SAP?.....Regarding the future of SAP

Career in SAP / SAP Career / SAP Training Courses / SAP Training Course Fees / SAP Functional Consultant and SAP Technical Consultant/ SAP Modules – SAP Technical Modules and SAP Technical Modules / SAP Portal / SAP for Freshers / SAP for experienced Guys / Regarding the future of SAP:

SAP(Systems, Applications and Products in Data Processing) is the largest ERP solution provider on earth. About 70 % of Forbes 500 companies and thousands of other companies are having ERP provided by SAP.
Almost all major Service Sector and Manufacturing companies have already implemented SAP creating a plethora of jobs for SAP trained professionals.  These companies require SAP support consultant for supporting SAP. A lot of small and medium scale companies / industrial houses plan to implement SAP soon. These organizations require Technical and Functional SAP consultants.

A large number of end user jobs are also available in the market. SAP Professionals are highly rewarded and career growth path is comparatively better than rest of the IT professionals.

SAP jobs can be segregated into two categories   SAP Technical Consultant and SAP Functional Consultant.

SAP Technical Consultant / SAP Technical Module: Technical Consultants  do the development work and are core IT professionals.
SAP Functional Consultant / SAP Functional Module: Functional consultants are domain specialists i.e. those related with business process and configuration (Banking Professionals, Productions Engineers etc).

Sufficient opportunities exist for fresh engineering graduates who aspire to make their career in SAP in the present market. While choosing SAP as a career option one must make an intelligent decision about which module he should specialize in. In fact this is most commonly asked question. Choosing a module in SAP depends on your educational qualification and professional experience.

SAP Training Courses: SAP training courses depends modules you choose.

SAP Technical Modules:
For B.Tech/BE (CSE,IT),MCA, Developer -     SAP ABAP, SAP BASIS, SAP NetWeaver

SAP Functional Modules:
B.E(Mechanical, Electrical etc),Hardcore -  SAP MM, SAP PP, SAP QM, SAP WM, SAP SCM, SAP CRM
MBA in Finance/Accounting   -  SAP FICO
MBA in Sales or Marketing  -  SAP SD
MBA in HR  -  SAP HR

Those   having 3 to 4 years of experience in development (.Net / Java etc) are advised to chose  SAP ABAP   module   requires a lot of technical knowledge.

  4. Hello Dear,
Being a SAP consultant depends from where you are getting your SAP training....if you are taking training from SAP Authorized Institutes then after certification there is a very good chance to be a associate consultant..but in case if you are getting training from Non-Authorized institutes (Local institutes that provides training on low cost)...then it depends on your luck and how much experience you show and how much knowledge you get as well...have faith in yourself and do work hard...surely you will get success....no matter from where you get your training......

    4. Hello Dear...Becoming a SAP Consultant depends on you...It's up to you how much knowledge you get and how do you perform in interview...you are B.Com and preparing C.A. CPT exam...so I thing SAP FICO is the best module for you...your SAP training fees (24000) is ok becoz SAP training from non-SAP authorized lies in this range...If you get a SAP consultant job then surely you'll get around 30000 Rupees...Don't think that you r getting training from a local institute and you could not be a SAP Consultant...SAP Certification gives a little bit edge over non certified guys..but everybody has to perform in interview...so prepare yourself and do work hard...please keep one thing in yr mind about your experience that you show in your resume....
